NYC New York City

Everybody loves the Big Apple!

how much do flights to New York from London generally cost?

I’m hoping to go there for like a week or two with my cousin in a few years time, when I get a job and save up that is. Where is the cheapest site to book plane tickets? (I don’t care if the plane is crap haha)
In POUNDS please people.
and "MysticBl…" – did you not read the part where it says "generally"? I didn’t exactly say give me the exact pricing of the flights, did I? And clearly I can’t afford it atm, don’t be making snide unnecessary remarks if you’re going to be useless as a rock.

The price of tickets right now on that route will depend on the time of year you want to travel (winter is cheaper than summer, with few exceptions), meaning that the price of a round-trip ticket could be anywhere from $600 to $1200 or more, depending on when you go.

Keep in mind, though, that there are many factors (such as competitive pressures or the price of oil) that could drastically affect the price of a ticket between now and several years from now. (Airlines don’t publish fares more than 11 months in advance or so, so no one can tell you what the price will be then, and the prices now could be meaningless in the event of major market shifts.) Thus, while people can give you prices of tickets now, they’re merely a range based on what the price could be at any point during the year, and even then, those prices could well change over time.

Try kayak.com. They’re pretty good at comparing prices on all the major airlines.

Did I read correctly… that you said " …I’m hoping to go there for like a week or two with my cousin in a few years time"

In a few years’ time? Hey anything can change… but generally you’ll be looking at around $300+taxes on average…

So wait till you can afford it…and then ask this question again.
