How to hagle purse knock off shopping in new york city…lol?
I am taking my first trip to new york city. I always hear people saying you have to walk up to the venders and ask for the good purses in the back….is this true. Anyone have any advise.
These re counterfeits, not knock-offs. There is a difference, Counterdfeuits are illegal and immoral on so many levels.
Just ask yourself…Do you want someone else to be paid for work that you do?

If the vendor tells you a higher price, start hagling. Meaning try to bring the price down a reasonable level.
Good luck

Knock offs (copies made to look genuine products) are not legal so there isn’t anything "lol" about it.

Find a Burlington Coat Factory which carries a few nice purses (like with Beyonce) or other department stores in the city. Fakes are crap so no matter how much your bargain, you are wasting your money and helping those manufactures to keep making more.

Most of the time there will be people on the streets telling you they have purses. Although lately what they are doing is showing you just the pictures of the purses. When you go into the actual store ask them if they have prada, gucci, chanel. They will either take you to a back room somewhere, or sometimes across the street, or they will bring the purses down to you. A guy just offered me a nice prada purse the other day for $60. I wasn’t sure how low he would go so I just kinda tested it out. He kept asking me what I wanted to pay. Don’t tell them a price. Otherwise they won’t go any lower. Just tell them "I think you can do better than that." He went all the way down to $45! And I barely had to do anything! Also, another good thing to do is keep a 5 in one pocket, a 10 in another, and a 20 in another. So when you are haggling, you pull out a 10 and say "this is all I have." Sneaky, but it works!
Have fun!
