MPI in NYC Episode 3: Sightseeing in NYC and Bank of America in Youtube HD!

Here’s part two of day two of the NYC trip over Thanksgiving 2008. It’s after the parade (my gosh we did a lot on this day!). In this episode we sightsee around New York including Times Square, Bryant Park, the New York Public Library, Rockefeller Center, Top of the Rock, Ice Skating, and Bank of America! This episode more than any other displays our friendship–something we’re all thankful for this Thanksgiving. Enjoy for a limited time! (Episode 3 of 5.) Just FYI, the video quality is bad because of Youtube, you can try the “high quality” button to the bottom right but it may not make much of a difference… sorry (It looks good and “visible” with my full quality version….)

Zeitgeist Day 2009 event in New York City Part 6 of 6

The last hour of the event was dedicated to the audience to ask questions to the team. I only could get the first few minutes as I ran out of memory. The answer to the last question as where the location for the Venus Project test city could be was any place that is open to the idea(Peter said he got a lot of interest from people in Venezuela) and also somebody mentioned a project in Mexico dubbed the Earth Ship: EarthShip.org. You may want to check that out as well. I should also point that Nano Sphere
(Nano technology) was mentioned more than once during the presentation and you may want to look that up on Wikipedia or any source to further your information on how far we’ve got.

Low-flying planes cause New York City scare

Mayor Michael Bloomberg said he is furious that the federal government flew a presidential Boeing 747 and a fighter jet near ground zero part of a government photo opportunity and training mission.

The incident on Monday caused a brief panic among workers, who said they were not notified in advance.

Bloomberg said the flyover so near the World Trade Center site showed “poor judgment” and was insensitive. He said he is furious that the New York Police Department and another city agency were notified last week, but did not tell him.

If he had known, Bloomberg said, he would have tried to stop it.

The Federal Aviation Administration and the Air Force say the flight was a government photo opportunity and training mission involving a presidential plane.

The White House staffer who organized the photo session apologized, but not before locals and an influential senator raised their voices.

Worried workers from several office buildings poured out onto the streets before they learned that the flights were harmless.

John Leitner, a floor trader at the New York Mercantile Exchange Building, said about 1,000 people “went into a total panic” and ran out of the building around 10 a.m. after seeing the planes whiz by their building, near the World Trade Center site.

“Apparently, nobody in the building was informed that this was going to happen,” he said. “Everyone panicked, as you can certainly understand.”
