where would be a better place for shopping new york? or chicago?
i have never been to either one, but i plan on my 18th birthday to do a hugee shopping spree at one of the two but i don’t know witch one would be better? help?
NYC has very expensive upscale shops. VERY expensive. You will be paying $200-500 for a sweater at least.
Chicago has variety of different stores, but a high tax. over 10% I believe now.
If you want to go to the city and see a musical/play, go out to eat. but to shop you can get more for your money elsewhere. In the Chicago area I would go to Woodfield Shopping Mall in Schaumburg IL

DOWNTOWN CHICAGO. Water Tower mall or the area around it. state street. it’s the best!!! u can get carriage rides too. it’s by the beach too. there’s soo much to do yet soo little time.

Woodfield mall if Shaumburg Illinois is a nice mall. There is also Gurnee mall in Gurnee Illinois.
